Golden Circle Tours
We are located in a small forest near the sea on one side and a beautiful mountain on the other. It's a good idea to stop by and see our beautiful surroundings close up. Hiking up the mountain you will see a magnificent view, you can also walk on the beach or even do some fishing.
From Hotel Hafnarfjall you can take 3 days, every day filled with different experience;
Day 1:
You can go to Snæfellsnes, take road 52 towards Arnarstapi, view several beauties of the National park. follow north coast of the Peninsula to Stykkisholmur, drive road 56 and get back to Borgarnes on road no. 54. It is about 120 km to Arnarstapi
Day 2:
Go and see Þingvellir, Silfra Gullfoss, Geysir in summer time take road no. 52 over Uxahryggir to Þingvellir it is about 80 km. In winter time drive road no. 1 to Mosfellsbær and from there road no.36 to Þingvellir. This is normally called the Golden Circle tour.
Day 3:
To Borgarfjördur, Húsafell, Reykholt, Deildartunguhver, Barnafossar (Hraunfossar) Take road 50 , it is about 60 km to Húsafell.
